  2009 will be the first year I've shipped to Grand Junction, CO. In the past we have shipped to Phoenix and departed from there. However with temp around or over a 100, and the size of Phoenix. I decided to try a different shipping location. After speaking with riders from the past, they agree Grand Junction, CO. may be a better location to start from. This puts us closer to the Canyons.

My plan in 2009 is to do most of the same route I have ridden in the past. What will be left out is the ride from Globe, AZ. to Mexican Hat and Lee's Ferry to Phoenix. Yes we will still stay at Mexican Hat and Lee's Ferry, we just have to much fun at these spots to leave them out. The ride will still get in about eighteen hundred miles with a new twist to the Canyon Run..

Shipping into Grand Junction, will give us an extra day, so I plan on staying in Moab, UT. for two nights and spending a day rafting the Colorado River. We will also visit the Canyon Land and the Arches National Parks along with Dead Horse State Park. The second day will take us across Lake Powell and to Capital Reef National Park. The third day across Hwy 12, and some of the best scenic ridding anywhere, you will also visit Brice Canyon National Park and on into Springdale, UT. Forth day will be a short ride through Zion National Park where it was once believed the earth open and man came from. It is so breathing taken you will stop for pictures around almost every turn. The day will end in Kanab with lot's of shopping also you can visit the Movie set's of Gunsmoke, the home site of Outlaw Josie Wells and many more. The next and fifth day will take us to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, believed by many to be more scenic than the south. After leaving leaving the Grand Canyon National Park we will finish our day at Lee's Ferry Lodge, this has always been a favorite stay over.. On the sixth day it's on to Page and across the Navajo Reservation riding into Monument Valley just as John Wayne did in "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" and many other westerns, then finish the night in Mexican Hat and relax along side the San Juan River. After breakfast it's off Monke Dugway and into Silverton, CO. and across the million dollar Highway finishing the day in Ouray, nestled in some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere, "Switzerland in America". The last day will take us back into Grand Junction, CO. but not before riding more beautiful roads and with a quick stop off in Bedrock, where Thelma and Louise made there last phone call before going over the cliff

This is an Adventure of a Lifetime, if your are  interested in riding the canyons, I would suggest calling us and getting your deposit in now.  To secure your spot on our truck, we take half down to reserve and balance 60 day's prior to shipping.

Information on shipping into Grand Junction, CO and not Phoenix and links to what you can see and do. After picking your bike up at the airport you will ride to Moab and spend two nights. That's where we will do the rafting on the Colorado and visit The  Arches National Park | Moab Utah,  Canyon Lands National Park (U.S. National Park Service) and   Dead Horse Point State Park | Moab Utah USA . So you see we need two day's in this area. When we do leave on Sunday morning we will go to Lake Powell - and take the ferry across the lake and on to Hanksville. Monday it will across a beautiful mountain range and to Brice Canyon and staying in Springdale UT. at the gates of  Zion National Park - . From there to Kanab and on to the, Grand Canyon National Park - the North Rim  then staying at Lee's Ferry to the south side of Lake Powell and passing through Monument Valley, Utah/Arizona  and staying the night in Mexican Hat and dine next to the San Juan River where we will stay the night. Mexican Hat, Utah. After a good nights rest it's on to the   The Moki Dugway, Utah and Cortez, CO. then if time allows we will stop and see Mesa Verde National Park (U.S. National Park Service) to finishing the day will take us over Red Mountain "The Million Dollar Highway" U.S. Route 550 - We will stay in Ouray, CO for the night. Our last day will be the ride back into Grand Junction, CO. We will stop off in Bedrock, to visit the site where Thelma and Louise made the last phone call before driving over the cliff. This is an adventure of a lifetime.
